Background Art In heat pump air conditioners, frost (frost) is sometimes formed on outdoor heat exchangers, which serve as evaporators, during a heating operation. Since the frost prevents heat exchange, a defrosting operation is performed to remove the frost when frost formation is detected. When the defrosting operation is performed, the frost formed on the outdoor heat exchanger melts and drips as drainage water on a base of an outdoor unit, and is released to the outside through a drainage hall. In cold regions, however, frost forms quickly and when the outdoor air temperature is low, the drainage water that has dripped on the outdoor unit base can be re-frozen on the base before being released from the drainage tail.
Consequently, air conditioners used in cold regions have a defrost heater installed on the outdoor unit base and, if there is a risk of the drainage water freezing, the defrost heater is set to heat the outdoor unit base to prevent the outside of the building from being prevented from being removed. aft cause an outdoor flutter aft caraway. The defrost heater usually has a thermostat to prevent overheating which is configured to detect the surface temperature of the defrost heater and to perform on / off control of the defrost heater, thereby maintaining the surface temperature within a certain range.
For example, as described in PTL 1 and 2, there are known outdoor air conditioning units in which a tubular heater, such as a jacket heater, is installed on an outdoor unit base to prevent freezing of drainage water, as described above. In the letter PTL 2, a tubular heater, which is installed on an outdoor unit base, is pressed against and fixed to the bottom surface of the outdoor unit base with a separation plate having a rectangular shape in its entirety, elongated recesses in the longitudinal direction for both spirits, two screw halls arranged in the center of [Dada breathes in the longitudinal direction, and a base in the central portion surrounded by the helical tail and the elongated recesses. In PLT 2, further projections are arranged at several positions in the elongate recesses so that the tubular heater can be held by these projections. The contact portion between the separation plate and the heater decreases in size.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION Technical problem As described in PTL 2, however, when a tubular defrost heater is pressed and fixed to a separation plate (fixed) having elongate recesses, it presses and fixes the defrost heater with a uniform force while compensating for dimensional tolerances between the outdoor unit base and the defrost heater, which! Ada are rigid. Consequently, there have been problems with the defrost heater when it is held with insufficient force, being displaced by collision or shaking during transport of the outdoor unit, resulting in disadvantages such as improper heating or conflicts with other components, and with the rear defrost heater. is damaged when held in place with excessive force.
There have also been problems with drainage water dripping from an outdoor heat exchanger can be blocked by the separation plate 3 and remain on the outdoor unit base on the way to the drainage tail, since the separation plate (fixed) itself is directly screwed to the bottom surface of the outdoor unit base, and another drainage hall the base, as well as with a worker, can be damaged by the tips of the screws when the worker hails the outdoor unit base for aft mounting the outdoor unit, since the tips of the screws with which the separation plate is sealed protrude from the rear surface of the outdoor unit base.
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object thereof is to provide an outdoor unit for an air conditioner in which a defrost heater installed on an outdoor unit base can be securely fixed in a predetermined position with a uniform force, while dimensional tolerances therebetween are compensated for , to thereby achieve the intended antifreeze function.
Solution to the problem An outdoor unit running an air conditioner according to the present invention uses the following solutions to read the problems described above.
Namely, in an outdoor unit of an air conditioner, according to an aspect of the present invention, in which a defrosting heater to prevent freezing of drainage water is installed on an outdoor unit base, which defrost heater is fixed in the bottom surface of the outdoor unit base with post-fastening including fastening which spirit holding the defrost heater is a free spirit, which retaining portion is configured to be flexible so that the retaining portion can retain the defrost heater while compensating for dimensional tolerances between the outdoor unit base and the defrost heater.
With this configuration, the attachment for attaching the defrost heater to the outdoor unit base includes an arm-shaped retaining portion in which a spirit holding the defrost heater is a free spirit, which retaining portion is configured to be flexible so that the retaining portion can retain the defrost tolerant heater and the defrost heater. The defrost heater can thus be pressed against and fixed to the bottom surface of the outdoor unit base with a uniform force, while dimensional tolerances between the outdoor unit base and the defrost heater, which are flexible, are compensated for by the bending function (flexibility function) of the arm-shaped holding. Thus, the defrost heater can be securely fixed in a predetermined position despite collision, shaking, or the like during transport of the outdoor unit, thereby achieving the intended antifreeze function.
In the outdoor unit of an air conditioner as described above, a contact surface of the holding portion, which comes into contact with the defrost heater, can be configured to have a projecting circular bag-shaped cross-section.
With this configuration, the defrost heater can be fixed to the bottom surface of the outdoor unit base so that the contact surface of the holding portion, which has a projecting circular bag cross-section, comes into contact with the outer circumferential surface of the defrost heater, since the contact surface of the holding portion circular bag-shaped cross-section.
Consequently, the defrost heater can be fixed so that the exterior of the defrost heater is not damaged by burrs on the edge of the holding portion. The outdoor unit base can further be heated efficiently by minimizing the contact area between the fastener and the defrost heater in order to reduce the heat transfer to the fastener.
In any of the outdoor units for an air conditioner described above, the retaining portion may be configured to be formed by providing a U-shaped cut-out portion at one end of the fastener, the remaining mitral portion forming the arm-shaped retaining portion and portions of the fixing portions thereof. with which the fastener is fixed is fixed in the outdoor unit base.
With this configuration, the holding portion is formed by arranging a U-shaped cut-out portion at one end of the frame, the remaining middle portion forming the arm-shaped holding portion and portions on which sides thereof constitute fixing portions with which the fastener is fixed to the outdoor unit base. Consequently, the arm-shaped holding portion can be formed by cutting in the middle portion between the fixing portions of the fastener as fastened in the outdoor unit base. The defrosting unit can thus, by fixing the fixing portions on both sides of the outdoor unit base, be securely fixed in the outdoor unit base with the retaining portion arranged in the middle portion.
In any of the outdoor units of an air conditioner described above, the fixture may be configured to be securely attached to the outdoor unit base so that a gap is left with respect to the bottom surface having a drainage bar disposed in the bottom surface of the outdoor unit base.
With this configuration, the fastener is securely attached to the outdoor unit base, so that a gap is left with respect to the bottom surface of a drainage vane which is arranged in the bottom surface of the outdoor unit base. Consequently, the fastening for retaining the defrost heater does not block the flow of drainage water flowing in the drainage carriage and consequently the drainage water resulting from the defrosting operation can be quickly led to the drainage tail and relaxed outside and thereby reliably prevented from being prevented.
In any of the outdoor units of an air conditioner described above, the fixture may be configured to be screwed to a tapered portion disposed on the bottom surface of the outdoor unit base in such a manner as to be raised upwardly into a projecting shape of a predetermined height.
With this configuration the fastener is screwed to the tapered portion which is arranged on the bottom surface of the outdoor unit base in such a way that it is raised vertically in a projecting shape with a predetermined consequence. The tip of the screw with which the fastener is fixed in the outdoor unit base does not protrude from the lower surface has the outdoor unit base, since it is located in the tapered portion projecting upwards, which is arranged to improve the rigidity of the outdoor unit base. Thus, a worker will not be injured by the screw tip when the worker hailer 6 the outdoor unit base will fit the outdoor unit and safety can be ensured.
In any of the outdoor units of an air conditioner described above, the unit may be configured to include a pair of retaining portions at the same end for holding the defrost heater, which is bent and installed on the outdoor unit base, at two positions.
With this configuration, the% is configured to have a pair of holding portions at both ends, so that the attachment can hold the defrost heater, which is built and installed on the outdoor unit base, in two positions. Incorrectly, the defrost heater, which is both baked, can be pressed against and attached to the outdoor unit base at two positions with a single fastener having a pair of holding portions at [Ada spirits. The number of fasts can thus be reduced to half the number of positions at which the defrost heater needs to be fixed. It is therefore possible to simplify the configuration and reduce the cost.
In any of the outdoor units of an air conditioner described above, the unit may be arranged to have an engaging portion at the other end which engages with a notch arranged in the bottom surface of the outdoor unit base.
With this configuration, the fastener has an engaging portion at the second end which engages with a crowd arranged in the bottom surface of the outdoor unit base. By engaging the engaging portion provided at the second end of the fastener with the groove provided in the bottom surface of the outdoor unit base, and by securing one end of the fastener to the tapered portion of the outdoor unit base with the screw, fastened with a screw. The task of fixing the defrost heater can thus be simplified, and the simplicity of assembly is improved.
Beneficial Effects of the Invention With the present invention, the defrost heater can be pressed against and secured to the bottom surface of the outdoor unit base with a uniform force, while dimensional tolerances between the outdoor unit base and the defrost heater, both of which are rigid, are compensated for by the bending function of the arm-shaped function. Consequently, the defrost heater can be securely fixed in a predetermined position despite collision, shaking, or the like during transport of the outdoor unit, thereby achieving the intended antifreeze function.

As shown in Fig. 4, the outdoor unit base 2 is a rectangular die-cast component having a scaled shape and having an upright cradle 16 around its periphery. Mounting legs 17 are welded to the rear surface of the outdoor unit base 2, near both the left and right sides. As shown in Fig. 4, there are on the bottom surface of the outdoor unit base 2 the mounting kits 18, on which the compressor 11 is located, arranged at three positions on the left side; a mounting set 19 on which the outdoor surface 14 is located is arranged at a position slightly to the right of the center; and the mounting kits 20 on which the outdoor heat exchanger 13 is located are arranged at four positions along the rear side (the closer side in Fig. 4) and the left side (the right side in Fig. 4). These mounting kits 18, 19 and 20 are shaped so as to project upwardly from the bottom surface of the outdoor unit base 2 with a predetermined height.
Along the front (the far side in Fig. 4) and the back (the nearer side in Fig. 4) of the area on the side Mr heat exchanger chamber 10 there are further, 9 on the bottom surface of the outdoor unit base 2, arranged recessed drainage carriages 21 and 22 which are slightly lower. the bottom surface of the base. These drainage carriages 21 and 22 collect the drainage water on the bottom surface of the outdoor unit base 2 and release it to the outside, and drainage halls 23 and 24 are arranged at two positions at the lowest level.
As shown in Figs. 3 and 4, the defrost heater 15 is further installed in the drainage carriage 22 arranged in the bottom surface of the outdoor unit base 2, to extend along the lower portion of the outdoor heat exchanger 13 MO in an L-shape. This defrost heater 15 is formed by bending a rod-like jacket heater, and its spirits 15A protrude upward. There is also an intermediate horizontal path 15B which is continuous with the spirit members 15A installed by being bent to conform to the drainage carriage 22 and fixed to the bottom surface of the outdoor unit base 2 via the fastener 25 at two positions.
A harness 26 for power supply is connected to the defrost heater and a thermostat 27 RV overheating is provided, which detects the surface temperature of the defrost heater 15, and switches off the defrost heater 15 when the surface temperature is equal to or higher than a pre-set temperature (for example 0), and seals on the defrost heater 15 when the surface temperature is equal to or lower than a preset temperature (for example 25 °). As shown in Figs. 2 to 4, this thermostat 27 is fixed to the rear of a critical path of an upright path 15C (see Fig. 2) which is bent upwardly from the horizontal portion 15B installed on the outdoor unit base 2. at the defrost heater 15, said all it pinches the upright portion 15C.
Furthermore, as shown in Figs. 6A to 6E, the fasteners 25 are rectangular, die-cast components made of sheet metal and are arranged to extend over the pre-secured drainage carriage 22. The fasteners 25 each have an engaging portion 29 at one end (the right end). in Fig. 6A) which is inserted into and engages a groove (insertion hall) 28, which is arranged at a position along the rear side (the far side in Fig. 2) of the outdoor unit base 2 (see Fig. 2), and a screw-fixing hall At the other end (the left side in Fig. 6A). As shown in Fig. 5, the fastener 25 is screwed to the bottom surface of the outdoor unit base 2 with a screw 31, at a tapered portion 32 which is raised at a predetermined height to project outwardly to improve the rigidity, and so configured by the tip of the screw 31 does not protrude from the rear surface (bearing surface) of the outdoor unit base 2.
While the mounting portions at both ends of the fastener 25 are provided with the engaging portion 29 and the screw tail 30, an intermediate portion 33 therebetween is bent in a recessed shape to a position at a predetermined distance with respect to the bottom surface of the drainage carriage 22, as shown in Figs. 6B. U-shaped cut-out portions 34 and 35 are further provided with both spirits of the tiara of the façade. Due to these cut-out portions 34 and 35, the remaining middle portions constitute arm-shaped holding portions 36 and 37. But holding the outer circumference of the defrost heater 15, and paters on both sides thereof constitute fixing portions 38 and 39 with which the fastener 25 is fixed in the outdoor unit base 2.
As shown in Figs. 6C and 6D, circular bag-shaped holding portions and 41 corresponding to the outer circumference of the defrost heater 15 are provided at the free spirits of the arm-shaped holding portions 36 and 37. As shown in Fig. 6E, contact surfaces 42 of the circular bag-shaped holding portions 40 and 41, which come into contact with the outer circumference of the defrost heater 15, have a circular bag-shaped cross-section projecting towards the contact surfaces 42. Note that reinforcing grooves 43 are provided therein. intermediate portion 33 of fastener 25 at Dada sides in the longitudinal direction and at the central portion.
With the configuration described above, this embodiment provides the following advantages.
When the air conditioner performs a heating operation, the outdoor heat exchanger 13 of the outdoor unit 1 serves as a precursor and absorbs heat from outside air at low temperature. Consequently, depending on the conditions of the outdoor air, frost can form on the surface of the outdoor heat exchanger 13. Since the frost prevents heat exchange between coolant and the outdoor air, a heating cycle of the air conditioner changes to a melting cycle when frost formation 11 is detected and high temperature refrigerant gas is supplied to the outdoor defrosting operation.
When the frost melts due to the defrosting operation, the drainage water flows down the outdoor heat exchanger 13, drips on the outdoor unit base 2, flows through the drainage channels 21 and 22, and collects at the drainage holes 23 and 24, and is discharged externally. During this process, during the defrost conditions, the defrost heater 15, which is installed on the outdoor unit base 2, is switched on at suitable times to heat the outdoor unit base 2 to prevent freezing of the drainage water, so that the drainage water does not freeze on the outdoor unit base 2. causes aft outdoor flats 14 or similar carbs.
The defrost heater 15 is further arranged with the thermostat 27 to prevent overheating, which detects the surface temperature of the defrost heater 15 and switches off the defrost heater 15 when the surface temperature is equal to or higher than a pre-set temperature (for example 35 °) and sets the defrost heater to equal with or lower a preset temperature (for example 25 °) to prevent Overheating of the defrost heater 15, which can be caused by the defrost heater 15 boiling dry. The thermostat 27 prevents overheating and protects peripherals by controlling the surface temperature of the defrost heater 15 within a certain range.
The defrost heater 15 retains the wallas with a uniform force and is securely attached, while dimensional tolerances are compensated for between the outdoor unit base 2 and the defrost heater 15, both of which are rigid, so that the defrost heater 15 is not displaced by collision, shaking, or the like during outdoor transport. In this embodiment, each of the fasteners 25 is attached to the defrost heater 15 is provided with the arm-shaped retaining portions 36 and 37, in which the spirits holding the defrost heater are free spirits. These retaining portions 36 and 37 are configured to be flexible so that they can wall the defrost heater 15 and at the same time compensate for 12 Mr dimensional tolerances between the outdoor unit base 2 and the defrost heater 15.
The defrost heater 15 can thus be pressed against and fixed to the bottom surface of the outdoor unit base 2 with a uniform force and while dimensional tolerances are compensated for between the outdoor unit base 2 and the defrost heater 15, both of which are inflexible, with the bending function (flexibility function) of the arm-shaped 15 is thus not displaced despite collision, shaking, or the like during transport of the outdoor unit, and disadvantages such as improper heating or conflicts with other components, or a damaging effect on the defrost heater 15 due to excessive holding force, can be eliminated. The defrost heater 15 can consequently be securely fixed in a predetermined position and thereby achieve the intended antifreeze function.
The contact surfaces 42 of the circular bag-shaped holding portions and 41 of the holding portions 36 and 37, which come into contact with the defrost heater 15, have in particular a circular bag-shaped cross-section projecting towards the contact surfaces 42, and the defrosting heater 15 is fixed in the bottom surface of the outdoor unit 42. of the retaining portions 36 and 37, which have a projecting circular bag-shaped cross-section, in contact with the outer circumferential surface of the defrosting heater 15. The defrosting heater 15 can consequently be fixed so that the exterior of the defrosting heater 15 is not damaged by degrees on the edges of the retaining portions 36 and 37. The outdoor unit base 2 can further be heated efficiently by the contact surface between the fasteners 25 and the defrost heater 15 is minimized by reducing the heat transfer to the fasteners 25.
By arranging the U-shaped cut-out portions 34 and 35 in the spirits of the fasteners 25, the remaining middle portions also form the arm-shaped holding portions 36 and 37, and portions on both sides thereof constitute the fixing portions with which the fastener 25 is fixed in the outdoor unit base 2. The arm-shaped retaining portions 36 and 37 can consequently be formed, by cutting, in the middle portion between the fixing portions 38 13 and 39 having the fastener 25 fixed in the outdoor unit base 2. By fixing the fixing portions 38 and 39 on both sides of the outdoor unit base 2, the defrost heater 15 can thus be securely fastened in the outdoor unit base. 2 with the retaining portions 36 and 37 in the middle.
Since the fastener 25 extends between the groove (insertion tail) 28 of the outdoor unit base 2 and the tapered portion 32 to increase the rigidity, a gap is left with respect to the bottom surface of the drainage carriage 22, which is arranged in the bottom surface of the outdoor unit base 2. attachment of the defrost heater 15 not the drainage water flow flowing in the drainage path 22. The drainage water resulting from the defrosting operation can be quickly led to the drainage holes 23 and 24 and relaxed externally and thus reliably prevent the outside from being prevented.
With the screw 31, the fastener 25 is screwed further to the tapered portion 32 which is raised from the bottom surface of the outdoor unit base 2 by a predetermined height to project outwardly to improve the rigidity. As shown in Fig. 5, therefore, the tip of the screw 31 for securing the fastener 25 in the outdoor unit base 2 does not protrude from the lower surface of the outdoor unit base 2, since it is located in the tapered portion 32 projecting upwardly, which is arranged dry improve the stability of the outdoor unit base 2. Thus, a worker will not be damaged by the tips of the screws 31 when the worker hails the outdoor unit base 2 RV to mount the outdoor unit 1 and safety can thus be ensured.
As shown in Figs. 6A to 6E, the fixture 25 is further configured to have a pair of retaining portions 36 and 37 close to its breaths so that the fixture 25 can hold the defrost heater 15, which is bent and installed on the outdoor unit base 2, at two positions. Accordingly, the defrost heater 15, which is both baked, can be pressed against and secured to the outdoor unit base 2 at two positions with a single fastener 25 having the pair of retaining portions 36 and 37 at the same spirit. The number of fasteners 25 can thus be reduced to half the number of positions at which the defrost heater 14 needs to be fastened. It is therefore possible to simplify the configuration and reduce the cost.
The fastener 25 further has the engaging portion 29 at the second end which is inserted into and engages with the groove (insertion tail) 28 which is arranged in the bottom surface of the outdoor unit base 2. The fastener 25 can consequently be fixed with a screw by pulling the engaging portion 29, which is arranged at the second end of the fastener 25, engages with the groove 28, which is arranged in the bottom surface of the outdoor unit base 2, and by attaching a spirit of the fastener 25 in the tapered portion 32 of the outdoor unit base 2 with the screw 31. fixing the defrost heater 15 can thus be simplified and the simplicity of assembly improved.
Note that the present invention is not limited to the embodiment described above and it may be duly modified to an extent that does not deviate from its spirit. Although the materials of the fasteners are not specifically limited, they can, for example, be made of steel plate which has a thickness of about 1 mm. The arm length of the holding portions 36 and 37 is of course shaped so that a suitable bending function can be exhibited.
